Proton Putra Modification Project

Here, I will update on Putra Modification Project. Pictures coming soon.

The following is a description on the Proton Putra Engine from wikipedia.

The Putra's power is derived from a Mitsubishi 4G93P DOHC engine, which features a total of 4 cylinders, each with 4 valves and an MPi fuel system.
The 4G93 is available in both SOHC and DOHC versions. Turbocharged variants are also produced. The 4G93 was the first modern gasoline direct injection engine on its introduction in August 1996, and Mitsubishi produced over a million GDI engines. The SOHC 4G93 provides 86 kW (117 PS; 115 bhp) at 5500 rpm and redlines at 6500 rpm. The DOHC 4G93 GDI has 103 kW (140 PS; 138 bhp) at 6000 rpm and redline at 7600 rpm.

4G93 DOHC 16 Valve

Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI)
Total Displacement - 1834cc
Bore - 81.0mm
Stroke - 89.0mm
Compression Ratio - 12:1
Maximum Output - 96 kW (131 PS; 129 bhp) / 103 kW (140 PS; 138 bhp) @ 6,000 rpm
Maximum Torque - 177 N·m (131 ft·lbf) @ 3,750 rpm / 181 N·m (133 ft·lbf) @ 3,500 rpm

The following pictures show the car during its dyno (to measure its engine power). This reading is necessary to show its initial power before modification and after modification. You can read about the dyno process further from wikipedia

Here is the dyno report
